Doing Business with RRP

Resources for Contractors

Regional Rail Partners (RRP) is committed to providing local subcontractor/vendor participation on the North Metro Rail Line during both the design and construction phases. Design is winding down and construction is undereway. In order to be a partner on the North Metro Rail Line, subcontractors/vendors must register on SmartBidNet and complete a subcontractor/vendor registration form. Once registered, you will have access to bid packages as they become available. Bid package announcements will be featured on this website and registered subcontractors/vendors will receive an email through SmartBidNet as packages relating to their discipline are released.

All contractors who receive an RFP will be given access to electronic files of plans and bid documents through SmartBidNet. Please be sure to add SmartBidNet to your “safe sender” list. Contractors will also be able to visit the RRP North Metro Rail Project office to discuss in detail the proposed scope with the applicable Discipline Lead. In addition, hard copies of bid documents will be available for pickup at the RRP office.

DBE and SBE certified firms

RRP is committed to implementing comprehensive and innovative DBE and SBE programs to demonstrate success and build capacity on the North Metro Rail Line Project. RTD has established DBE project goals of 23% for design and 21% for construction. RRP has committed to 24% Design and 22% Construction DBE participation for the first two years of the project.
